Company Overview

At i-DE, we manage and maintain more than 265,000 kilometers of electricity distribution lines, which extend across 10 autonomous communities and 25 provinces, covering an area of approximately 200,000 km².
We also operate over 99,000 transformer stations and 1,185 substations to provide the best service to our 11.5 million customers.

In 2023, we distributed 87,868 GWh of electricity and achieved our best historical record in supply quality.

 
Thanks to investments in new electrical infrastructure, the maintenance and renewal of existing assets, and an ambitious digitalization plan for our networks, we have been able to maintain a quality level above the industry average.

At i-DE, we have undertaken in recent years an ambitious digitalization plan for our networks, transforming more than 11 million meters and their supporting infrastructure into smart systems, incorporating remote management, monitoring, and automation capabilities.

All this has been possible thanks to the effort and commitment of more than 3.200 i-DE professionals, approximately 30% of whom work directly in the field, as well as the support provided by over 4.000 people employed indirectly by the company across Spain.
