ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION DATA

In 2018, we distributed 93,897 GWh of electricity and achieved our best historical data in quality of supply. The Average Supply Interruption Time (TIEPI) has fallen to 44.4 minutes, an improvement of 38% over 2017, and it is expected to fall to 44 minutes by year-end. In addition, i-DE is the Spanish distribution company with the lowest losses from its networks.

We have more than 11 million customers who, thanks to the STAR project, are enjoying the advantages of new smart meters. At the close of fiscal year 2018, over 10.7 million smart meters have been installed, representing 99.73% of our total fleet of measuring equipment.

In addition, i-DE has completed a network digitisation process, adapting 99,000 transformer centres to provide them with remote management, monitoring and automation capabilities. This allows us to remotely and immediately access our customers' meters in order to offer them the best advantages.
